Pajama Run for Homeless Kids

Join us for our third theme run, the Pajama Run, it’s a charity run for homeless children.

Yeah, it’s kinda strange to think about running in your Pjs. But, as a kids, we did everything in our Pjs. We read, cuddled with our blankets and carried around our favorite stuffed animal, never giving thought to how lucky we were to have these items that brought us comfort in our homes.

One in 50 American children will face homelessness in his or her lifetime, according to the Project Night Night website. Together we can help bring a smile and comfort the children who are less fortunate.

On Wednesday, August 15, we are asking runners to bring a small blanket, children’s book or stuffed animal to the run location: Station Road Bridge Trail Head – Brecksville Reservation,
10499 Riverview Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. The run will begin at 6:30p or as close to 6:30p as possible.

Distance: a 3 to 6 miles run/walk – IN OUR PJs. You can run on the bike and hike or the trail.
